Murree Medical Centre now offers the Electronic Prescription Service...

The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.

Patients will now be able to have their repeat prescriptions sent electronically to a pharmacy/dispenser of their choice.

If you already have a nominated pharmacy/dispenser who fulfills your prescription then the surgery will use the EPS to continue to send your prescription to them and there will be no change to your service.

If you do not have a nominated pharmacy/dispenser then to enable us to send your 'electronic' prescription to your chosen pharmacy/dispenser you must nominate who you wish this to be. You can do this by speaking to our Reception staff,  filling in a nomination form available from Reception or by printing one from HERE

You do not need a computer or computer access to use EPS.

More detailed information on  EPS and 'nomination'  is available from the links below or in print from either of our Receptions.

***If you are already registered for, and currently use, the online repeat prescription service then one of the following will apply:-

a) if you already have a named pharmacy/dispenser to which your paper prescription goes then the Surgery will use the EPS to continue to send your prescription to them; therefore you need take no action and there will be no change to your service. If you wish to change where you collect your prescription from then please complete a Nomination Form

b) if you have no named pharmacy/dispenser and normally collect your paper prescription from the Surgery then you will need to complete a Nomination Form before you can utilise the service.

Please ensure you have read the patient information regarding EPS and Nomination which can be found using the links below***
