Consultations are by appointment and are for one person only. If additional members of your family need to be seen please make a separate appointment. If you consider your consultation requires additional time please let the receptionist know.

Our practice policy is to offer an emergency appointment on the same day and an urgent appointment within 24 hours although this may not always be with your usual doctor. If you ask to see a specific doctor you will normally be offered a routine appointment within 7 working days or within 2 working days with any doctor in the practice.

Practice Nurses/Emergency Care Practitioners

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse or ECP rather than a doctor. They are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.

Telephone Access

If you urgently need to contact a member of the medical team, please contact reception and your call will be directed appropriately. If you routinely need to contact a member of the medical team, please leave a detailed message with the receptionist and an appropriate member of the team will contact you as soon as it is possible. There is a duty doctor available for medical advice during the day.

Practice Security

For health and safety reasons it is important that we know who is in the building at any time. All patients and visitors must report to reception on arrival at the surgery and remain in the waiting room until called.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
