Patient Participation Group

The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

Groups are an effective way for patients and GP surgeries to work together to improve services and to promote health and improved quality of care.

Our patient groups take two forms, a virtual on-line group and a group that meets in person regularly throughout the year. These groups are not exclusive to each other but work in harmony to improve communication between the Medical Centre and patients, to ensure the services on offer truly meet the needs of all patients.

If you would like to be involved in either group you can let us know by filling in the form under the 'Contact Us' tab. Please let us know in the 'Comments' box which group you would be interested in getting involved in. And please do not forget to tick the box consenting to us contacting you at the bottom of the form.

Alternatively, for the "virtual" group, click on the image opposite for the online form.

Our patient groups need to be as representative as possible of all the patients registered at the practice.

We are particularly seeking:

  • Parent(s) with young children
  • Young people in full or part-time education
  • Registered disabled patients
  • Ethnic minority representatives

Should you have any queries regarding patient groups then please feel free to use the contact form or telephone us for further information.
